Central Government Employees Rejoice: 8th Pay Commission Gets Cabinet Nod!

Before the 2025 financial budget, the central government has given a major gift to central government employees. The government has approved the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. The 8th Pay Commission was approved during the Central Cabinet meeting. With this, the government has also fulfilled the long-standing demand of central employees.

Providing information about the cabinet decision, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that the tenure of the 7th Pay Commission will end by 2026. Before that, the formation of the 8th Pay Commission will be completed. Along with approving the 8th Pay Commission, the government also mentioned that the 7th Pay Commission will remain in effect until 2026. Once the tenure of the 7th Pay Commission concludes, the 8th Pay Commission will become operational.
